About Danielle Milinovich, LMFT

My Philosophy

I have been working with and supporting children, teens and adults for twenty-five years.  I enjoy helping others to conquer anxiety and depressive symptoms, to better understand their choices and behaviors.  When we find our inner authentic self and begin to find the courage to share that truth, then we begin to balance our lives, and there is where we truly find our strength. 

My Approach

I use a variety of models and interventions to help you work through your anxiety, depression, stage of life struggles, addictive behaviors and desires to find your authentic and balanced self. 

Services and Fees

I offer a variety of counseling services to meet your unique needs, including individual therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy.  I am open to working with children, teens, and adults of all ages. 


My hourly rate is $150.00.

Discovering Your Strength by Finding Your Balance

Finding Your Truth and Setting Boundaries

We all have bits of truth that we struggle to share.  Maybe it is speaking up for ourselves, sharing how we feel in response to someone else's behaviors, or simply sharing our thoughts, feelings and needs.    Many of us have been taught to put others needs first, to be pleasant and not to demanding.  The problem begins when you forget to make room for yourself, when we do not speak our truth, we often become irritable and begin to resent the other person.  We can work together to take small steps toward finding your voice and building your confidence in your communication.  

Changing How You Respond to Stress

Stress is a natural part of life; we can't avoid it, but we can decide how to respond to the stress.   When we have several tools in place, and we are able to carve out bits of time for self-care, then we can often catch our breath.   Being able to pause gives us the chance to adjust our understanding and perception of why this stress is happening. 

Understanding Your Behaviors

Our current behaviors can be driven by the experiences of our childhood and the messages we heard growing up.  We learned from the words and actions of those around us, and we likely created scripts that guide our choices and behaviors today.   Together we can discover where those scripts came from, what they say and decide if you still want them. 

Finding Your Balance

Together we can work to find your voice, speak your truth and begin to create balance in your life.  You can learn to have courage in your communication, where you can own your feelings and responses and begin speaking with clarity and honesty.   By balancing your needs along with those you interact with, you will begin to find your strength.
